Step 1:  Complete 30 hours of drver's education courses.

• You should first complete 30 hours of in-class or on-line driver's education courses.  Most high school in CA offers such program.  (*If you are over the age of 17½, then your don't need to take driver's education or teenager driver's training in order to apply for your permit.)

 Step 2:  Enroll in Behind-The-Wheel Training.

• Once you pass the driver's education courses, please call us to enroll in  a behind-the-wheel driver's training course.  Our driving school will provide enrollment certificate.

 Step 3:  Pass DMV Permit Exam.

• You need to take and pass a written traffic laws and sign test from a local California DMV office.  After you passed the written test, DMV will issue you a learner's permit. 

Step 4:  Complete Behind-The-Wheel Training.

• You are required to take 6 hours of behind the wheel training with a professional driving instructor. 
• Complete fifty (50) additional hours of behind the wheel training with a parent/guardian or any other adult who is 25 years old or older. The adult must have a valid California driver license and certify that you've had the 50 hours of practice. It is required that 10 of the 50 hours of training is done in the evening.

Step 5:  Pass DMV Road Test.  (check list)

• Have had your learner's permit for a minimum of six months.
  Have completed 30 hours of driver's education course.
  Have completed 6 hours of professional driver training
  Have completed 50 hours of practice with an adult who is 25 years or older.
